The survey of the Best Countries involved 75 metrics to evaluate a country’s ability to provide for its citizens and considered 73 different countries. Specifically, for the quality of life, the factors involved are affordability, stability in economy and politics, good job market, good public education system, availability of a good public health system, safety, and a family-friendly environment.

Canada is not only scoring the first place in quality of life but also the second place in the Best Countries overall ranking. It is not surprising why more and more immigrants are choosing Canada as the destination for their future life.

Within March 2020 the Minister of Immigration, Marco Mendicino, will submit to the Government the new Immigration plan, disclosing the number of immigrants to be expected in 2022. There are voices that that number will score around 360,000, to be added to the already approved ones for 341,000 immigrants in 2020 and 350,000 immigrants for 2021.
