Canada announced the ban to entry for travelers: from this morning only Canadian citizens, Permanent Residents, and USA citizens, without coronavirus symptoms, are allowed to be boarded on aircraft directed to Canada.
In the tentative to stop the spreading of coronavirus, the Canadian government is starting to take extreme measures.
From March 18th, all the flights will also land only in Toronto, Montreal, Calgary and Vancouver airports, in order to perform the required public health screening operations.
“All Canadian must act now to interrupt chains of transmission,” said Canada’s Chief Medical Health Officer Dr. Theresa Tam.
